Sofronoff could conduct Lehrmann inquiry ‘as he sees fit’, lawyers argue | ABC NEWS

Walter Sofronoff’s appeal of a finding he engaged in "serious corrupt conduct" as chair of the inquiry into Bruce Lehrmann’s prosecution has heard he knew the material he shared should remain confidential.
But Mr Sofronoff’s lawyer told the court it was not a "legitimate expectation" of inquiry witnesses that material they provided wouldn’t be disclosed to media.
Federal Court Justice Wendy Abraham has reserved her decision.
