Advisor Quits After Porn Video Filmed in His Flat Shakes Finnish Politics

(Helsinki) – A senior advisor to the Finnish Centre Party has resigned following a scandal involving an explicit video filmed in his own apartment, according to Finnish public broadcaster Yle. Jyrka Hakala, who served as a special advisor to prominent Centre Party politician Antti Kaikkonen, is stepping down after a tabloid exposed that a pornographic clip available on the adult site OnlyFans had been recorded at his residence.

The revelation came from Finnish newspaper Ilta-Sanomat, which stated on Tuesday that it had obtained the video from OnlyFans and confirmed it was filmed in Hakala’s flat. The scandal erupted quickly, with the Centre Party moving to distance itself from the controversy.

Antti Siika-aho, the party secretary, confirmed Hakala’s resignation from his advisory post. He said that Hakala would take up a role in a different department within the party but did not specify what that role would be. When pressed for comment, Siika-aho refused to elaborate further, stating, “I am not going to go into this topic and will not give further comments.”

Yle also attempted to reach Kaikkonen, but he did not respond to calls. He later sent a message saying he would not comment on the issue either.

According to Yle, Hakala is currently on sick leave. The development comes at a time when scrutiny of adult content platforms is growing, with the European Union launching an investigation into Pornhub and other sites over child protection concerns.
