Long Range Strikes Dismantling Russia’s Drone and Weapons Production in Systematic Attacks (Video)

(Kyiv) – Ukraine has struck deep into the Russian Federation with a series of drone attacks on military production facilities, including the Kronstadt plant in Dubna, near Moscow, which specialises in manufacturing large drones. According to military expert and former Armed Forces of Ukraine spokesman Vladyslav Seleznev, this facility was only opened in 2021 and plays a major role in the Russian drone industry. Its destruction marks a significant blow to the Russian dictator’s ability to wage war.

Seleznev noted during a live broadcast on Radio NV that these strikes are part of a systematic campaign by Ukraine to degrade Russia’s capacity to produce weapons and equipment used in its war of aggression. He stated that the weapons attacking Ukraine at night are built in such facilities, and their destruction is both strategically sound and likely to continue. “What happened once will definitely happen again,” he said, referring to repeated drone strikes on critical targets.

The attacks coincide with rapid improvements in Ukraine’s own unmanned technologies. Seleznev revealed that Ukraine is now deploying so-called “mother drones”, which carry kamikaze drones up to 300 kilometres into enemy territory. These mother drones represent a major leap in Ukraine’s drone warfare, allowing for long range and autonomous attacks with improved efficiency and precision.

He explained that technological developments in Ukraine’s drone capabilities are now happening almost every quarter. Earlier, Russian drones using fibre optic cable guidance impressed many, but Ukraine is now also mastering such systems. The introduction of mother drones, which can deliver payloads deep behind enemy lines, reflects this evolution. Seleznev even hinted that the next step might involve artificial intelligence powered drones capable of coordinated missions.

He underlined that while the Russian dictator’s forces continue to kill Ukrainian civilians on a daily basis, Ukraine’s army is taking a far more disciplined and effective approach. Rather than launching indiscriminate attacks, Ukrainian forces are focusing on eroding Russia’s offensive power through smart, strategic strikes. This methodical destruction of production lines and equipment is weakening Russia’s capacity to wage war.

Seleznev believes this shift on the battlefield, combined with the degrading of Russian armoured vehicle supplies, shows Ukraine is steadily regaining the upper hand. He noted that Russian forces have increasingly replaced tanks with infantry waves and improvised vehicles due to losses inflicted by Ukrainian forces.

The expert also stated that North Korea is now providing artillery and ammunition to Russia on a large scale, a worrying development that highlights the desperation of Moscow’s war strategy. Nonetheless, he remained confident in Ukraine’s growing advantage, saying that President Volodymyr Zelensky’s goal of ending the war before summer 2026 is entirely realistic.
