A Ukrainian attack drone managed to destroy a Russian Mi-26 multi-purpose helicopter that was parked at the airfield.
The combat operation was carried out by the Alpha Special forces unit of the Security Service of Ukraine.
The details of the operation are not disclosed. Supposedly, the helicopter was hit back in June, but the footage appeared only in December.
In June, it was reported that the SSU destroyed Mi-8, Mi-26 and Mi-28 attack helicopters, as well as a Pantsyr-S1 self-propelled anti-aircraft missile and gun system at Kirovske airfield.
The SSU is systematically working to reduce Russia’s ability to conduct air and bomb strikes on the territory of Ukraine.
The video also shows the destruction of the elements of the S-400 system.

The Mi-26 is the most powerful mass-produced transport helicopter capable of lifting up to 20 tons of cargo. It is used for strategic transportation, evacuation and support of military operations in difficult conditions. The destruction of such a vehicle significantly weakens the logistics of the occupiers.
