– FORMALIZING FOREIGN INVASION
Over in Moscow, Russia’s parliament has rubber-stamped a new law allowing Vladimir Putin to deploy the country’s armed forces abroad if citizens are subject to arrest or criminal prosecution by foreign courts. As Ayşe Abacı reports, officials say the Kremlin has repeatedly used the premise of protecting its people overseas as justification for military intervention.
