Today marks four years since Russian forces were pushed out of Bucha, revealing the horrific atrocities committed against civilians. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, together with First Lady Olena Zelenska, held a vigil for the victims. EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas and foreign ministers from EU countries also attended a memorial for those killed in Bucha in 2022. Despite ongoing Russian attacks and a stagnant battlefield, Ukraine is pressing for peace, with Zelenskyy planning online talks on Wednesday with U.S. negotiators to halt strikes on energy infrastructure.
