#Kanal13 # as reported on June 3, 2025, Ukraine struck the Crimean Bridge for the third time during the full-scale war. The head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, Refat Chubarov, addressed the Russians on the occupied peninsula amid this attack.
He recorded a video message in which he called on Russian citizens who are in Ukrainian Crimea to leave the peninsula while they have the opportunity to do so. This concerns those Russians who settled there after February 27, 2014, and those who are there on "vacation."
"As you already understand, the illegally built Kerch Bridge, which connects occupied Crimea with the territory of the aggressor country, with the territory of Russia, will soon be demolished. And you may find yourself in a kind of "bag". Therefore, I strongly recommend that you urgently leave the peninsula and go home, to Russia, to those cities from where you illegally came to occupied Crimea," the head of the Mejlis emphasized.
He added that his appeal was not intended to protect Russians from the danger they "stupidly and voluntarily" expose themselves to. According to him, the reasons are "more prosaic." They are connected with preparations for the liberation of Crimea.
"If you remain in Crimea by that time, the Russian generals will definitely use you as a human shield to save their own skins. Believe me, this is not the first time they have done this. So, Russian citizens who are illegally in occupied Crimea, do not put off your departure from Crimea until tomorrow. You simply may not have time," stated Refat Chubarov.
Recall, Security Service of Ukraine blew up the Crimean Bridge underwater . Now the structure is in a state of emergency. According to the SBU, the underwater supports of the piers are heavily damaged at the bottom level – 1100 kg of explosives in TNT equivalent contributed to this. In fact, the bridge is in a state of emergency. The Chairman of the SBU, Lieutenant General Vasyl Malyuk personally supervised the operation and coordinated its planning. "God loves the Trinity, and the SBU always brings its plans to an end and never repeats itself. Previously, we hit the Crimean Bridge twice in 2022 and 2023. Therefore, today we continued this tradition underwater. There is no place for any illegal objects of the Russian Federation on the territory of our state. Therefore, the Crimean Bridge is an absolutely legitimate target, especially considering that the enemy used it as a logistical artery to supply its troops.
