Defense Forces Strike Russian Logistics With FPV Drones 60 km Deep

Drone operators from the Ivan Franko Group unit struck Russian logistics vehicles with FPV drones at a depth of about 60 km near Donetsk.

The Ivan Franko Group press service released a video of the operation.

According to the unit, the strikes targeted logistics assets in the temporarily occupied areas of the Donetsk region, including Avdiivka, Yasynuvata, Mineralne, as well as areas near Donetsk and along the Logvinove-Debaltseve axis, at an operational depth of up to 60 km.

The video compilation shows the destruction of 20 Russian vehicles, including fuel tankers, equipment transporters, trucks, and pickup trucks.

FPV drones supplied to Ukrainian forces by the Serhiy Sternenko Charitable Foundation were used in the operation.

To conduct strikes at such depth, drone operators may have used signal repeaters to extend control range and maintain stable video links over long distances.

This was not the first operation in which the Ivan Franko Group engaged Russian targets at such distances. The repeated execution of such missions underscores that the danger zone extends well beyond a conventional 15-20 km front-line depth.
