The Epstein scandal continues as more politicians and public figures are named in files related to the high-profile sexual-abuse case. Newly released documents from the US Department of Justice contain references to US President Donald Trump, tech billionaire Elon Musk, and a number of prominent figures. According to some new reports that referenced these documents, one of male victims who testified to the Federal Bureau of Investigation in the “Epstein case” has made sensational claims. He stated that at a party held at a yacht club in 2000, he was sexually abused as a minor by Jeffrey Epstein and former US presidents George Bush and Bill Clinton. The victim also said that the current U.S. president Donald Trump and his wife Melania were present on the yacht trip where the incident allegedly took place. Donald Trump’s name appears hundreds of times in the documents. While Trump has acknowledged knowing Epstein, he firmly denies any awareness of his crimes or any involvement. The U.S. Department of Justice has stated that several allegations against Trump contained in the documents are unfounded and sensationalist. Well-known entertainment publicist Peggy Seagal is also at the center of Epstein Files. According to the documents, Seagal offered to "bring a baby" to Epstein after Kenya trip. In an email to Epstein, Peggy Seagal said she was on her way to Nairobi, Kenya and could bring one or two little ones. wife, Melania Trump, is also among the newly released documents. Latest releases from the Jeffrey Epstein files include specific references to Buckingham Palace tied to Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor. One of the most explosive revelations involves emails discussing Epstein’s suggestion to arrange an introduction between a 26-year-old Russian woman and the “Duke.” Notably, these exchanges occurred in August 2010, well after Epstein had admitted to sexually abusing minors. The records undermine Prince Andrew’s repeated assertions that he severed all contact with Epstein that same year, as messages from February 2011 suggest their association continued. While the documents do not point to any specific criminal offense and the Duke rejects all accusations, a photograph released from the U.S. Department of Justice archives has triggered widespread outrage. The image shows Andrew on his hands and knees, kneeling over an unidentified woman. The leaked files also shed light on Epstein’s relationship with the Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson. In an April 2009 email, Ferguson affectionately described Epstein as “my dear” praised him as a “legend,” and wrote that she was proud of him despite the fact that Epstein was already under house arrest for sex crimes at the time. The documents further detail financial dealings involving former senior British politician Lord Peter Mandelson. Banking records indicate that Epstein sent three payments totaling $75,000 to accounts connected to Mandelson between 2003 and 2004. Although Mandelson has said he does not remember receiving the funds, email correspondence suggests he was considering moving into Epstein’s residence. Mandelson was appointed the UK’s ambassador to the United States in December 2024 but was removed from the role shortly thereafter because of scrutiny over his past ties to Epstein. Leaked emails also reveal that Elon Musk exchanged messages with Epstein. In 2012, Musk asked when the “wildest fun” would take place on Epstein’s island, with subsequent messages addressing travel logistics. There is, however, no evidence that Musk ever visited the island, and he has warned that the messages could be misrepresented to damage his reputation. Allegations involving Bill Gates contained in the documents have been dismissed by representatives of the Microsoft co-founder as entirely false and absurd, stating that letters attributed to Epstein have no connection to Gates. Meanwhile, prominent civil rights attorney Gloria Allred has sharply criticized the release of documents that exposed some victims’ names and images, arguing that many of the redactions were superficial and still allowed individuals to be identified.
