BREAKTHROUGH ON €90 BILLION EU LOAN FOR UKRAINE
European Union ambassadors have approved a €90 billion loan for Ukraine, along with a new sanctions package against Russia, the bloc’s Cyprus presidency said on Wednesday. The way for the loan was cleared after the incoming Hungarian PM brought an end to the Orbán veto and oil flows via the Druzhba pipeline were agreed to be resumed.

Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha says Kyiv has reached out to several international partners, including Turkey, to help organize talks between President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
EUROPE FACES AN ENERGY CRISIS
Europe is facing an increasing energy crisis and the summer ahead may be difficult as the ongoing war in Iran continues to cause delays of fuel shipments from the strait of Hormuz, impacting the cost of jet fuel and gas at the pump. Some European airlines have already felt the impact, having cancelled flights.
