The Ukrainian-Estonian defense startup Farsight Vision announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding with 2021 Solutions—the developer of BZIK unmanned aerial systems.
As part of the cooperation, the efficiency of BZIK UAV reconnaissance missions is expected to increase, 2021 Solutions told Militarnyi.
Additionally, the companies will conduct joint research and development aimed at improving drone navigation systems.
The collaboration also aims to accelerate data processing from unmanned systems on the FSV Platform.
Specifically, this involves improving photogrammetry accuracy and operational efficiency both in environments with GPS access and in those without.
The collaboration also includes joint user training: training sessions are planned for crews of systems equipped with a license to use the FSV Platform.
“We are joining forces to accelerate the development of solutions that provide accurate geospatial awareness and support decision-making in real-world conditions,” noted Farsight Vision CEO Viktoriia Yaremchuk.
For the 2021 Solutions team, integration with cutting-edge software solutions is a strategic priority.
The collaboration with Farsight Vision will transform the BZIK drone from a photo data collection tool into a full-fledged platform for generating high-precision geospatial content.
