France resumed its participation in the EU’s EUMAM mission this week by organizing eight training courses for Ukrainian military personnel in Poland.
This was reported by the French Ministry of Armed Forces and Veterans Affairs.
The training program covers reconnaissance, commanding a combat group in difficult conditions, and technical support, including servicing VAB armored personnel carriers.
This may indicate future additional deliveries of French armored vehicles to Ukraine.
In addition, Ukrainian military personnel are undergoing training in specialized shooting, close combat, and the basics of urban combat.
The European Union Military Assistance Mission (EUMAM) was launched to train Ukrainian military personnel on EU territory.
France is one of the key participants in this initiative and regularly sends its instructors to Poland.
