– Ukrainian and Russian officials are meeting in Geneva for another round of talks aimed at ending the war in Ukraine. The discussions are taking place just days before the fourth anniversary of Russia’s invasion of its neighbor.
– The European Union gave final approval for Poland’s investment plans under the bloc’s Security Action for Europe, or SAFE, funding program. This allows Warsaw to sign a loan agreement in March and receive an advance payment of about €6.5B from the nearly €44B it has requested under the scheme.
– A 29-year-old Polish citizen, identified as Wiktor Ź., has been charged with working for Russian intelligence. He is accused of gathering and sharing information about sites important to Poland’s national security.
