Glock has officially confirmed the launch of the new V series of pistols, which will be one of the most extensive updates in its history.
All models except the G43, G43X, and G48 will be phased out by the end of November 2025, USA Carry reports.
The V series will include the updated versions of the G17, G19, G19X, G26, and G45, as well as the MOS modifications of the G20 V MOS and G21 V MOS.
All models will feature the “V” marking on the frame and slide, and will retain the familiar appearance and ergonomics.
GLOCK assures that the changes will not affect performance or design, but internal components may be updated.

The name “V” has sparked discussion: it is interpreted as the Roman numeral five, which may indicate the continuation of Gen 5 or the beginning of a new generation – Gen 6. GLOCK has not yet clarified whether the V series is a separate generation or a rebranding.
The new models are expected to go on sale in December 2025.
