The pro-Iranian group Hezbollah used an FPV drone to hit an Israeli Merkava tank.
The group shared a video of the attack on social media.
The footage shows the drone slowly approaching the tank and striking its rear. This part of the vehicle is considered especially vulnerable due to its lighter armor and because it houses either a troop compartment or extra ammunition.
According to Hezbollah, the incident took place near the village of Merkaba in southern Lebanon.

The Israeli military leadership ordered the army to immediately destroy all bridges over the Litani River and to accelerate the demolition of houses in border villages in southern Lebanon.
Israel’s Defense Minister Israel Katz explained that the decision was aimed at blocking Hezbollah’s logistics and preventing the movement of reinforcements and weapons.

The Israel Defense Forces have already carried out a series of airstrikes on the key Al-Qasmiya bridge, which connects the south of the country with its central region. According to Lebanese state media, the structure sustained significant damage and has become unusable.
