Former Polish Justice Minister Zbigniew Ziobro has been granted political asylum and international protection in Hungary after being accused of serious wrongdoing back home in Poland. The decision is expected to further strain already tense relations between Warsaw and Budapest as Polish prosecutors pursue multiple charges against Ziobro for being part of an alleged criminal organization.
