In the Kharkov direction, Russian troops lose about 100 people killed and wounded every day. This is practically an entire company.The speaker of the Kharkiv OTG, Pavel Shamshin, spoke about this on the air of the telethon.
"Only in our direction Russians -lose approximately 100 people killed and wounded every day – this is practically an entire company, and in a week this is already more than a battalion, but this does not stop them," Shamshin said.
According to him, the occupiers continue active assault operations.
"Even the Russian army will sooner or later face such a concept as exhaustion, and when this happens, it is likely that the Russians will be in for a surprise. Hopefully, a very unpleasant one," the speaker added.
Shamshin noted that the Russian army has a numerical advantage, and their tactics now consist of stretching the Ukrainian defense.
The Russians are trying to attack in different places, and two weeks ago, they began active operations in the area of the village of Melovoe – northeast of the village of Bolshoy Burluk.
"There they actually crossed the state border and tried to move in the direction of the village of Ambarnoye and were stopped, then they changed the vector of their movement and tried to advance in the direction of the village of Khatney, but were also stopped. They are trying to stretch our defense, looking for weak spots, and if they think that they manage to find such a weak spot somewhere, they will accumulate their infantry in such places, which they will use to develop their success," the speaker said.
He reported that over the past 24 hours the enemy had stormed the positions of Ukrainian defenders in the areas of the village of Zelenoe and the city of Volchansk five times.
"The Russians are attacking mainly with small infantry groups of three to five people with active support from drones. Volchansk itself has been virtually wiped out, there is not a single surviving building there, while the Russians continue to shell the city with artillery, heavy systems, and also multiple launch rocket systems, but the main threat in Volchansk now is drones, the Russians have a lot of them and they are very active," Shamshin added.
