A video from the Sverdlovsk region in the Siberian part of Russia has surfaced online, showing local residents expressing dissatisfaction with the Russian authorities’ actions regarding the blocking of Telegram. The recording shows several people launching paper airplanes into the air, calling it their form of protest. The protesters claim that the authorities are restricting their ability to communicate and discuss socioeconomic issues, including rising taxes and tariffs.
n a video statement, protesters directly linked restrictions on messaging apps to the government’s internal policies. They said that in previous years, the government increased payments to public sector workers and pensioners before elections, whereas now, the speakers claim, the government is increasing taxes and utility rates. Accusations were also leveled against the authorities for attempting to restrict communication channels. Specifically, participants cited problems accessing WhatsApp and slowdowns in Telegram. The appeal concluded with an impassioned demand to preserve the platform and "freedom for Telegram."
Recall, blocking of Telegram in Russia angered even those most loyal to the Kremlin. Russian propagandists and Z-war correspondents continue to express outrage over the Kremlin’s decision to begin blocking the Telegram messenger.

Occupier Yegor Guzenko, "Thirteenth," called Roskomnadzor, the state agency for oversight of communications, "enemy accomplices," for blocking the messenger on orders from the Kremlin. " Go ahead, ban everything… We’ll probably use ‘pigeon post’ for military purposes… These are soldiers’ lives… They haven’t come up with anything good themselves, but they’re running around with their bans… Personally, I’ll never join this MAX and will work here until the very end, fortunately, all my software and VPNs are working… RNA bans and slowdowns. We should gather all these ‘banners’ into a single assault battalion… The deputies who supported these criminal bans. And give them the opportunity to experience firsthand all the consequences of their bad decisions ," wrote an angry Z-blogger. Ivan Utenkov also did not hide his indignation. " The front, of course, is very surprised! Starlinks are dead, and now they’re jamming telegrams too! How are we supposed to fight? With pigeons? " the Z-propagandist wondered. Yegor Kholmogorov wrote about the "social blackout" caused by the Russian authorities blocking Telegram. He complained that he would lose his income along with his blog. " For me, the social blackout is, among other things, a personal collapse. For the last year, I’ve been patching up the mess primarily through a paid channel, collections, and book sales… I’ll survive, of course, but very poorly ," the propagandist wrote frankly.
