A naval drone division has been established within the 414th Separate Unmanned Systems Brigade to support maritime operations.
Robert “Magyar” Brovdi, the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces (USF), announced this.
The division, created within the 414th Brigade, will be used to strike maritime targets and for more specific tasks, such as using drones to intercept Russian Shahed kamikaze drones.
Naval drones are already being used today by the 412th NEMESIS Regiment as part of the Unmanned Systems Forces.
This became possible after the unit was expanded to brigade level.
The transformation from a regiment to a brigade enabled the development of the medium-strike direction, including FPV components, naval drones, ground robotic systems, and enemy-drone interceptors.

Militarnyi previously reported that the 443rd naval drone division, called Neptun Shadow, had already been formed within the 9th Brigade of the Unmanned Systems Forces.
However, as of early February 2026, the division was only at the initial stage of manning and re-equipping.
