– The newly released Epstein files show that the late American financier was willing to share information on Donald Trump with Russia’s Putin and Lavrov. But the files show Epstein’s empire of influence stretched to many corners of Europe, with Latvia alone mentioned over 500 times.
– “We are six deciding countries that have agreed to speed up together,” said the German finance minister during a press conference with his Polish counterpart. Poland, along with Germany, France, Italy, Spain and the Netherlands has joined the group of EU’s biggest economies to boost the bloc’s competitiveness and defense capabilities.
– British Prime Minister Keir Starmer would like his country to join the EU’s SAFE defense loan scheme, thus strengthening the ties with Europe and regaining access to the bloc’s single market. This comes as EU officials tell TVP World that the European Commission is open to talks with London.
