Poland is in two minds about joining the Board of Peace, which President Trump wants to create to handle the reconstruction of Gaza and potentially address other conflicts around the world. Several Western European countries are also skeptical, but some Central European nations jumped right in.
Poland and other critics of the European Union’s landmark trade deal with South America joined forces in the European Parliament to refer it to court, which may delay its implementation. The agreement is seen as beneficial to the European industry, but the powerful farm lobby claims it will kill European agriculture.
