The Polish police have held the country’s first nationwide counter-drone conference and tactical training exercise as authorities step up preparations for the growing threat of drone attacks and sabotage.
Specialized counterterrorism officers from across Poland participated in realistic simulations involving unmanned aircraft, practicing how to detect, identify, and neutralize drone threats. The training drew on lessons from the war in Ukraine, where drones have become major battlefield weapons..
The exercises also focused on evidence collection, securing attack scenes, and coordination between police, firefighters, forensic teams and other emergency services responding to drone-related incidents.
