The influential Russian channel VChK-OGPU, closely linked to the security forces, published a post about the possible aggravation of the domestic political situation in Russia. The publication claims that Putin’s regime is extremely vulnerable today and under certain conditions could face a bloody uprising.
The authors of the post drew parallels with Nepal , where a mob angry at censorship literally toppled the regime. There, the protest was symbolized by the rapper-politician Balendra Shah Balen, popular among young people. They noted that such a scenario is quite realistic for Russia. And the first alarm bell for the Kremlin has already sounded – the so-called "Religious Procession" in Moscow. This, at first glance, religious event has gathered around itself the ultra-right Z-community with very radical views. " On September 7, 2025, the religious procession in Moscow gathered about 120 thousand people. Behind the believers were football fans ("Gladiators", "Espanyola"), PMC fighters, "SVO" veterans, former special forces of the Center for Special Purposes and the "Russian Community" with ZOV symbols. This is not just a procession, but an army: fans with experience in fights, PMC and "SVO" fighters are trained fighters, the "community" are ultra-right provocateurs. They did not simply "guard" the procession, they showed their strength ," wrote the VChK-OGPU. This event, apparently, alarmed the Kremlin and the Russian security forces. The failure of the war against Ukraine has dealt a painful blow to the reputation of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. Disappointment and anger at the regime are growing in the Z community. And this anger could bring down Putin and his entire vertical. " History is sounding the alarm… In Russia, the protests of 2011-2012 and the Wagner mutiny in 2023 showed how fragile power is. 200 thousand on the streets, where half are armed with experience "security forces", plus the anger of the youth from the blocking – this is explosive. One step… the arrest of the leader, a new ban or a crisis. Who will become the Russian Balen? Time will tell ," writes the VChK-OGPU.
Recall, since 2023, Russia has seen a sharp rise in violent crimes among individuals who returned after participating in combat operations in Ukraine. A similar surge in crime was observed in the 1990s after soldiers returned from Afghanistan. These individuals formed the backbone of criminal groups in the post-Soviet space, committing violent crimes due to their combat experience. The Russian authorities involved a large number of convicts serving prison sentences in the war in Ukraine. Therefore, experts believe that these individuals will likely continue their criminal activities after demobilization. Their involvement in numerous war crimes in Ukraine suggests that the brutality of their offenses may persist.
