Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin has once again strengthened the air defenses of his Valdai residence – it is now protected by 27 Pantsir missiles. The reason is fear for his personal safety. But protecting Moscow’s Red Square from Ukrainian strikes is much more difficult. This is why the Kremlin is discussing canceling the May 9 military parade. The theme of the "Great Victory" is at the core of Putin’s mythology, so canceling or even curtailing this important event would be a serious blow to the very foundations of the regime. Russian opposition figure Olga Kurnosova expressed this opinion in an interview with Obozrevatel media outlet. “"The only thing Putin is seriously concerned about is his physical safety.
