Today, it can be said with certainty that the village of Otradnoye in the Kharkiv region has been completely liberated; there are no remaining Russian occupiers there. This was stated by a communications officer of the 16th Army Corps, pseudonymous Ganz, on Army FM. "Well, maybe someone was hiding there somewhere, but the likelihood of that is minimal. We actually announced the liberation of Otradny much later. This is established practice. Once the village had been cleared and the surrounding forest belts had been cleared and the position had been consolidated, only then did we actually declare it liberated. I’d like to point out that we announced this on the 15th, and the village had been cleared even earlier. But if we’re assessing the work carried out around Otradny, I’d like to point out that about a month ago, a similar operation, albeit on a smaller scale, was carried out by the 129th Brigade near the village of Ambarne. Back then, we were able to push the enemy back across the border on a much smaller section of the front," the soldier shared. According to him, after this, the defense team carefully studied the new guidelines, connected artificial intelligence, and asked ChatGPT questions. "We actually simply analyzed the actions that took place on this local section of the front, and then scaled them up a bit. First and foremost, this is reconnaissance, planning, and forecasting possible developments: how the enemy will react, what they can counter, and how they will act. Secondly, this is the main issue that now arises on any sector of the front: logistics, providing our units with everything they need. The next issue, which we managed to resolve in cooperation with other units of the corps, is the isolation of the combat zone. What is called the ‘ring zone’ and other fashionable terms," the soldier said. Gantz explained that this deprives the enemy of the ability to resupply ammunition and reinforce personnel. He said that, in cooperation with the unmanned systems battalion and the brigade’s drones, the military managed to solve this problem. "But the main issue we managed to resolve during combat operations was synchronizing the actions of all units. UAVs, artillery, and aviation—all work for the infantry, all work for the attack aircraft. Because the main thing is: you can have miracle operators, miracle artillerymen, but until an infantryman gets there, until an attack aircraft gets there, it’s not our territory. I believe we succeeded in doing this. We managed to synchronize, create a unified command center that analyzed actions, honestly admitted mistakes, corrected them, and adjusted the action plan depending on the situation," the officer emphasized. The soldier noted that there was another factor they could neither confirm nor deny. According to sources familiar with the matter, the command of the Russian Federation’s 83rd Motorized Rifle Regiment, led by its commander, Denis Chekunov, nicknamed "Amur," deceived their superiors for nearly 10 days, concealing the true state of affairs on the front, thereby helping Ukrainian units liberate Ukrainian territory. "We have documented and visually confirmed the elimination of 59 occupiers. That’s what’s officially confirmed, the ones we found. In reality, their losses were significantly higher. These included the ‘three-hundreds’—they had about 60 men. But we also have to acknowledge the large number of ‘five-hundreds’. These were the ones who refused to carry out combat missions. The motorized rifle regiment command tried chaotically to rectify the situation. They scraped together everyone they could: logistics personnel, artillerymen, anti-aircraft gunners, clerks, cooks. They tried to form assault detachments from them and sent them forward. The smarter ones, the ‘five-hundreds’, were already in the assembly area—they ran away, scattered," the defense attorney said. He added that those occupiers who came out were destroyed, since their level of training was very low. "This has led to the unit being withdrawn to the outskirts of Moscow. As they say, it’s effectively been wiped out. A new unit is being established there," Ganz concluded.
