RUSSIA ATTACKS OIL AND GAS FACILITIES
Moscow’s forces have carried out two consecutive days of attacks on the Naftogaz Group’s oil and gas facilities in the Poltava and Sumy regions, damaging equipment but causing no casualties. Russia continues its attacks on the country’s southern and eastern regions.
THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE WITHOUT ELECTRICITY IN UKRAINE
80,000 people have been left without electricity in Novovolynsk, Ukraine after a Russian drone attack damaged a local substation. Residents are now trying to keep warm by taking advantage of several “resilience points” set up throughout the city. One such point is operating at a local institution known as the Center for Children’s and Youth Creativity.
POLISH FM ON BLOCKING RUSSIA FROM STARLINK
Poland’s Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski says his recent appeal played a key role in getting Elon Musk to restrict Russia’s Starlink access in Ukraine. He says a Ukrainian-vetted list of 30 thousand terminals, funded by Poland, remains active, helping shield troops from Russian targeting and forcing Moscow’s forces to revert to paper maps.
