Russia launched a series of deadly attacks targeting a passenger bus in Kherson, a food enterprise in Kharkiv, and residential buildings in Kramatorsk and Sloviansk, killing at least 10 people and wounding dozens more.
Ukraine is securing defense funding from EU countries despite opposition from Hungary and Slovakia, and is projected to remain solvent through early May thanks to previous loans and international support. A so-called “fact-finding” team from Hungary has entered Ukraine on a visit not coordinated with Kyiv.
Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson reiterated today that the team entered the country on the basis of visa-free travel and has no official status.
Ukrainian forces struck a strategic plant in Bryansk, Russia, targeting a semiconductor factory used for missile production. The facility, a major manufacturer of microelectronics, supplies about 90% of its output to the Russian Ministry of Defense. The strike caused significant explosions and casualties.
