The famous Russian Z-blogger, "angry patriot" Maxim Kalashnikov openly spoke about the catastrophic situation of Russia both at the front and in the economy. He considers the scenario of the collapse of the Russian Federation to be quite realistic.
Kalashnikov published a video in which he does not hide his disappointment with the progress of the so-called "SVO" and the situation in Russia in general. " How did we get to this point? How, why? In Georgia, everything worked out so well in 2008. But here, why did we end up in the nightmare of a protracted massacre? " asks the Z-patriot. Kalashnikov openly calls the aggression against Ukraine a "bloody swamp." According to him, the country was completely unprepared for a large-scale war. " Smart people first carry out industrialization, and then start wars. That’s how Stalin did it… And we rushed into war, having a gigantic import dependence… We found ourselves in a terrible situation, without exaggeration ," Kalashnikov said. He highlights Russia’s systemic failures: the lack of drones, modern communications, uniforms and transport. " In 2022, when the war began, it turned out that we don’t have drones, we don’t have digital closed communications, we have to use Elon Musk’s Starlink, one and a half million sets of uniforms have disappeared somewhere, there are not enough bulletproof vests, cars, and so on ," says Kalashnikov. He is outraged that "all these trillions" invested in the army have disappeared without a trace. The propagandist notes that Russia has found itself in a trap. " Everything was done to drag out this war, to lose it strategically, so that there would be gigantic casualties… We got bogged down. At the same time, we had completely destructive processes in the economy ," said the Z-patriot. He describes the situation in the rear as devastating. " The entire system with its huge flaws in our rear began to fall apart like rotten tissue. All the problems came to the surface and became more acute. We could fall economically. We have become a toy in the hands of China ," he said. He believes that the crisis is inevitable even if hostilities cease. " The noose of crisis is tightening around us. Acute, systemic and not only economic. It will happen even if military actions are frozen, and this is what is happening. The approaching crisis has become a trap for us ," Kalashnikov said. According to his assessment, Russia is entering its most dangerous period. " A very terrible era is coming. Very severe trials await us. If the Russian Federation falls apart, and we are heading towards something like that end ," the Z-patriot stated. These words are a painful signal not even for the Kremlin’s critics, but for those who themselves stood at the origins of support for the war. When even the mouthpieces of propaganda begin to talk about collapse, this speaks of a growing awareness of the depth of the catastrophe within the system itself.
