– RUSSIAN TRACE IN POLAND’S CRYPTO SCANDAL
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk is taking aim at a local crypto giant, saying it is linked to the Kremlin and has been lining the pockets of the country’s two largest right-wing opposition parties, one of which is linked to President Karol Nawrocki, who vetoed a bill regulating cryptocurrencies.
– HUNGARIANS EYE UNBLOCKING €20 BILLION IN EU FUNDS
EU officials touched down in Budapest tonight to sit down with the country’s Prime Minister-to-be Péter Magyar, less than a week after he ousted the Kremlin-friendly Viktor Orbán. The top priority for delegates is unblocking billions of euros in EU funds, which have been held back for much of Orban’s 16-year rule.
