Satellite Confirms Complete Destruction of Russian Ammo Depot in Khartsyzsk

Satellite images have confirmed the complete destruction of a Russian missile depot for air defense systems, multiple rocket launchers, and artillery shells in Khartsyzsk during the night of July 2–3.

The OSINT group Dnipro Osint published the images.

According to the released photos, four storage buildings were completely destroyed as a result of Ukrainian drone strikes and the subsequent detonation of ammunition.

The OSINT community CyberBoroshno identified that the Russians had positioned their depot within an abandoned industrial warehouse.

According to their information, the depot stored ammunition for air defense systems, multiple rocket launchers, and artillery systems. This is also confirmed by videos of explosions released by local residents, showing signs characteristic of the detonation of solid-fuel rocket motors.

Khartsyzsk is located near Makiyivka and Donetsk and holds significant strategic importance for Russian forces due to its railway connections and rapid access to Donetsk.

Since April 13, 2014, after the city came under the control of pro-Russian militants, it has been actively used by the Russians as a rear base.

Since the start of the full-scale war, Russian forces have begun placing command centers, logistics centers, and ammunition depots in Khartsyzsk.
