The soldiers of the 8th Special Operations Regiment neutralized a Russian sabotage and reconnaissance group in the Donetsk region.
The regiment’s press service shared this information on Facebook, along with a video of the operation.
The enemy was identified and destroyed during a special mission on one of the frontline sectors.
A gunfight took place between Ukrainian Special Operations Forces and the invaders. A drone was also monitoring the movement of the Russians.
The combat mission was carried out by the soldiers of the 8th Special Operations Regiment named after Prince Izyaslav Mstislavych.
“Donetsk sector. A Special Operations Forces group ‘routed’ Russian servicemen!…” – the statement says.

It is noted that as a result of successful actions, Ukrainian defenders destroyed three soldiers of the Russian occupying army. Weapons, communication equipment, and enemy documents were also seized.
