Deputies of the Tatarstan parliament became furious when heard the speech of the deputee minister in russian and demanded more freedom and respect for their republic. Nations sense Putin`s weakness and the dissolution of the russian federation becomes more real with each day.
Recall, in Tatarstan, Deputy Minister of Culture Yulia Agdamova was criticized for speaking in Russian. The leader of the local Communists, Hafiz Mirgaliev, interrupted her speech in the State Council, criticizing her for using the Russian language. The incident occurred on the eve of the 140th anniversary of the poet Gabdulla Tukay. So, a touching unanimity was demonstrated by political antagonists – local communist leader Khafiz Mirgalimov and United Russia deputy Azat Khamayev . Both are over 70, seemingly ripe for some wisdom. Adgamova was harshly reprimanded, as if she were a naughty girl. "Bilingualism means that there are two languages that are equal, " comments State Duma deputy Mikhail Delyagin from A Just Russia . " And anyone can speak in the language they feel closest to and understand best. This is an inalienable right. The Tatarstan communists, it seems, deny this right." In this case, we see a situation in which the Tatarstan branch of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation is, in fact, speaking out against bilingualism, hiding behind it."
The republic’s State Council has 100 deputies. Roughly speaking, Russians, including deputy Livshits , make up about a quarter. According to the latest data, Tatars make up approximately 54% of the republic’s population, while Russians account for around 40%. Until recently, introducing national quotas for representation hadn’t occurred to anyone, but now, after the language scandal, quotas are no longer a consideration. "People have noticed a curious trend, " notes public figure Oleg Tsarev . " In 2020, Rustam Minnikhanov, upon assuming the post of head of Tatarstan, took the oath of office in two languages, Tatar and Russian. Five years later, when he was re-elected head of the republic, he took the oath of office only in Tatar. And a year later, we see a female official being publicly criticized in the State Council for using Russian at an official event." The Tatar autonomy is a shining example of how, unlike the vast majority of European countries, our country has created all the conditions for the development of small nations, notes TV presenter Anna Shafran . "Unfortunately, there are those who want more, who learned nothing from the collapse of the USSR. Separatism in Tatarstan was rampant in the 1990s, and it’s clear that the veteran politician Shaimiev had no interest in independence from Russia. By feeding the separatists, he secured preferential treatment from the federal government. It would seem that separatism had been forgotten in the 2000s, but 20 years have passed, a generation has changed, and we’re once again hearing something very Ukrainian coming out of Tatarstan. How is it even possible for someone in Russia to be prevented from speaking Russian? There’s no doubt that, with Russia winning, our enemies are starting to stir up all sorts of domestic issues, from nationalism to Islamic extremism, and Tatarstan is eagerly adding fuel to the fire. And when I say "enemies," I don’t mean Ukrainians, but their teachers in London. Stirring up national themes is their favorite sport; they’ve done it in Ukraine, Moldova, Kazakhstan, and now in the Russian region.
