The Opening Ceremony of the Winter Olympic Games is set for February 6, officially marking the start of the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympics.
The video shows highlights from Day 1 of Stage 60 of the Olympic Torch Relay in Milan, as the flame travels through city streets lined with crowds before reaching Piazza del Duomo.
Ballet dancer Nicoletta Manni carries the torch into Cathedral Square through the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele arcade and lights the ceremonial brazier in front of the cathedral.
