🔹 FAME SABOTAGE: Unable to pay rent and with low morale, Yaroslavl crews destroyed quality control while carrying out the final fitting-out of the Kapitan Ushakov. The ship sank during a routine test, either due to crew negligence or deliberate carelessness.
🔹 SHADOW FLEET FATE: This ship was the "Guardian Angel" that would rescue Russia’s nuclear submarines and the aging "Shadow Fleet" ships that frequently malfunctioned in the icy waters. With its loss, hundreds of explosive-ready Russian ships plying the Baltic Sea were left without support.
🔹 STRATEGIC SUICIDE: The halt in salary payments created a "Logistics Thrombosis" that spread throughout the entire Russian shipbuilding supply chain. Russia paralyzed all of its production capacity, from attack boats in the Black Sea to ships in the Pacific Fleet.
🔹 TECHNOLOGICAL INSECURITY: This incident sowed a terrifying seed of doubt within the Russian military: "Were the other ships and missiles we received also built by hungry and angry workers?" An army that lacks confidence in its own weapons is doomed to total defeat.
🔹 NATO LAKE: In an attempt to push back NATO, Putin, with the participation of Sweden and Finland, effectively turned the Baltic into a "NATO Lake." Having devoured its shipbuilding capacity, Russia’s claim to be a naval superpower was scuttled with this shameful demise.
