The Ghosts (Prymary) unit of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine continues to systematically destroy Russian air-defense systems in Donbas.
Over the past two weeks, the group has carried out a series of precise drone strikes on critical elements of Russia’s air-defense network, the DIU reported.
A Tor-M1 surface-to-air missile system, among others, has been destroyed – systems the enemy used to cover its forward positions from Ukrainian UAVs, in particular.
Tor-M1
A short-range surface-to-air missile system that the Russians use as part of a layered air-defense network to protect troops and facilities from strikes by Ukrainian aircraft, missiles, and UAVs.
They also struck a 55K6 command post, part of the S-400 system that provides command and control for the surface-to-air missile system.

The long-range air-defense system is designed primarily to engage aircraft of strategic and tactical aviation.
It is also intended to intercept ballistic missiles, hypersonic targets, and other air attack means – crucial capabilities under conditions of electronic and other countermeasures.
Additionally, the DIU confirmed the disabling of a 9S18M1-3 radar belonging to the Buk-M3 system.
It provides cover for ground forces from Ukrainian aircraft and is capable of operating from rear areas against targets beyond the front line.

A medium-range anti-aircraft system, which is an extremely important component of the occupiers’ air defense.
It provides cover for ground forces from Ukrainian aviation and is capable of operating from rear areas against targets beyond the front lines.
“The Ghosts unit continues to inflict losses on Russian air defense, giving Ukrainian forces more opportunities to operate deep within the enemy’s defensive lines,” the unit noted.
Previously, the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine used an FP-2 drone to neutralize members of the Rubicon unit in Avdiivka.
