U.S. leader Donald Trump says he will hit French wines and champagnes with 200% tariffs unless President Emmanuel Macron joins his Board of Peace initiative aimed at resolving global conflicts.
Trump was speaking late on Monday after being told Macron intends to turn down the invitation. Trump confirmed that Russian President Vladimir Putin has also been invited to be a member of the peace board.
