Iran has carried out strikes on U.S. targets in the region, including one of the largest facilities in Bahrain — Naval Support Activity Bahrain, home to the U.S. Navy’s Fifth Fleet.

In addition, the U.S. AN/FPS-132 Block 5 early warning radar site in Qatar and nearby infrastructure were attacked.

Iran has conducted strikes on multiple locations across the region where U.S. military personnel are stationed.

Epic Fury

U.S. Central Command launched Operation Epic Fury on February 28 at the direction of the U.S. president.

U.S. forces, together with partners, began strikes at 01:15 Eastern Time. The stated objective was to degrade Iran’s military command structure, prioritizing targets assessed as posing a direct threat to U.S. forces and regional allies.

Identified targets included command and control facilities of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Iranian air defenses, missile and drone launch systems, and military airfields.

In the initial phase of the operation, precision-guided munitions were launched from air, sea and land platforms, indicating a coordinated and pre-planned campaign.
