On July 2, 2025, Ukraine carried out a major strike on a Russian ammo depot in Khartsyzsk, Donetsk, causing massive explosions visible for miles. This attack targeted one of the largest Russian stockpiles in the region, potentially containing missiles, drones, and artillery. The depot was obliterated in the blast.
The following day, Ukraine also hit the Kupol drone production plant in Izhevsk, deep inside Russian territory.
