Another group of Ukrainians held captive by Russia has been returned to their country as part of a prisoner exchange. Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky shared the footage of returned prisoners of war on his Telegram channel. The returning prisoners are fighters of the armed forces, the National Guard and the border service. Most of them are said to be wounded and in need of medical assistance. It should be noted that this is the third stage of the prisoner exchange held under the Istanbul agreement between the sides. Previously, prisoners of war under the age of 25 and wounded solder were exchanged. Corpses were also exchanged in the with the Istanbul deal. The number of prisoners being returned has not been disclosed.
