Ukrainian Defense Forces struck two Russian military rail echelons in the areas of the settlements of Menchuhove and Kelerivka in the temporarily occupied Donetsk region.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on this.
It is noted that the two echelons were struck at a considerable distance from each other: one was near Donetsk, and the other halfway between Mariupol and Volnovakha.
The department also reported additional reconnaissance of previous strikes launched on April 24, 2026. In particular, it confirmed a strike on the Kasta-2E1 radar station in Melitopol, Zaporizhzhia region, and the Pantsir-S1 air defense missile and gun system in Mariupol, Donetsk region.

It is reported that the Ukrainian Defense Forces are actively targeting Russian railway logistics. During March-April alone, at least seven echelons were reported to have been hit in the temporarily occupied territories on April 23 and 9, as well as on March 23, 13, and 12.
In particular, crews of the 422nd separate LUFTWAFFE unmanned systems regiment are actively targeting Russian trains in the southern direction.

In addition, members of the Freedom of Russia resistance movement are performing sabotage operations deep in Russia and in temporarily occupied Crimea, including attacks on diesel and electric locomotives.
