One of the main developers of weapons for the Russian Armed Forces, which has added 150 types of equipment to Putin’s "military machine" is the "Academician A. G. Shipunov Instrument Design Bureau", located in Tula at 59 Shcheglovskaya Zaseka Street. An agent of the ATESH partisan movement conducted reconnaissance of the facility, publishing photos of the locations on the Telegram channel.
The main model of weapons produced by the bureau are the ZRPK "Pantsir-S", ZRK " Kashtan-M", ZRK "Tunguska-M1" . The plant also assembles ATGM "Kornet", "Kvartet", "Metis", flamethrowers "Varna", "Shmel", "Shmel-M" , inter-service missile system " Germes-A". "During surveillance, it was established that the facility is under heavy security. The perimeter is patrolled by police and internal security service officers, and a dense network of cameras is in operation," the publication stated.
The company is the main developer of various weapons for the Russian Army, Air Force, Navy, and law enforcement agencies. According to the ATESH, the company has supplied russian military with more than 150 types of weapons, including systems covered by hundreds of patents and produced in series.
"We continue to closely monitor this facility, and all collected information has already been passed on to the Armed Forces of Ukraine to support accurate planning of strikes against the occupiers’ critical military infrastructure," the statement reads.
Earlier Ukrainian partisans had scouted out Russian plant producing chassis for Buk-M1-2, Tor-M1, and Tunguska-M1 systems.
This enterprise is among the leading ones in supplying the Russian army with tracked vehicles. The facility manufactures chassis for the Buk-M1-2, Tor-M1, and Tunguska-M1 anti-aircraft systems, which are actively employed in military operations against Ukraine. It is also known that the plant has a well-developed production base, including mechanical assembly and thermal galvanizing workshops, as well as material processing areas. The enterprise is part of the JSC Kalashnikov Concern and works directly for the Russian Ministry of Defense.
Atesh describes the plant as a vital hub in the Russian regime’s military logistics, essential to equipping its forces for continued aggression. "Our agents have gathered information on the workshops, production capacity, and personnel involved in fulfilling defense orders. All information has already been forwarded to the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the statement reads. Ukrainian partisans had monitored a fiber optics production facility supplying Rus sian troops from russia’s Saransk. They are involved in instrument making, machine building, ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy, the chemical industry, and machine tool production. The partisan movement continues to monitor these facilities and passes all the information it gathers to the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
