As soon as Ukrainian manufacturers improve the domestic missile Neptune, it will be launched at the Kremlin. This opinion was expressed by veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war, former company commander of the "Aidar" battalion Yevgeny Diky on the air of Radio NV .
"The Tomahawk topic has already been removed by Donald Trump… He himself clearly stated that such a question is not even being discussed," said Dikiy.
The expert is convinced that Ukraine will not be given Tomahawk cruise missiles.
"This is a fait accompli. Period. And this does not mean that we will not strike the Kremlin. But I think that our Neptun will fly to the Kremlin much faster than the mythical Tomahawk, which it will not give us – much faster. Our Neptune, which, for now, does not reach there, but is being improved every day. Which is being worked on. Which already flies more than half the required distance. Which is quite comparable in accuracy to the "Tomahawk". It seems to me that we will really see missiles over the Kremlin, and it will not be by the good will of the 47th American president, but by our own missiles, by the efforts of our own defense industry," Dikiy is convinced. In his opinion, as soon as Ukrainian ballistics pass the combat testing stage, Ukraine will no longer need to ask for any permission to carry out strikes deep into the Russian Federation, as is the case with ATACMS missiles.
Recall, according to The Washington Post, US President Donald Trump was considering sending long-range Tomahawk cruise missiles to Ukraine. If Tomahawks are launched from Ukraine, they could hit Moscow and St. Petersburg. The issue of possible deliveries of these missiles was discussed on Friday. However, high-ranking interlocutors claim that Tomahawks have been excluded from the delivery list for now. Tomahawk is one of the most famous and effective cruise missiles in the world, developed in the United States. It has been actively used in many conflicts, including Iraq, Syria, Libya and the Balkans.
