INDIANAPOLIS – An investigation is underway after one man was killed and another was injured in a shooting on Indy’s near northeast side Sunday morning.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, just before 1 a.m., officers were called to the 1800 block of Roosevelt Avenue on the report of shots fired.
When officers arrived, they located two men on the front porch of a residence with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds. One man died from his injuries, the second was reported to be stable, according to police.
No additional information was released. The incident remains under investigation.
