INDIANAPOLIS – Caitlin Clark will not play for the Indiana Fever on Thursday night.
The Fever said the star guard is out with a left groin injury.
Clark recently returned to the lineup after suffering a quad injury earlier this season. She missed five games over the quad issue.
In nine games this season, Clark is averaging 18.2 points, 8.9 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 1.6 steals per contest. The Fever signed Aari McDonald on Wednesday, giving them some additional depth at the point guard position.
The Fever (7-7) host the Los Angeles Sparks (4-11) at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Thursday. Tip is 7 p.m.
