CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police car was heavily damaged in an accident in Ballantyne Thursday afternoon.
Four cars were observed being involved in the accident reported around 4:25 p.m. on northbound Johnston Road at John J. Delany Drive. One left-hand turning lane is blocked at the scene; there are heavy traffic delays in the area.
The CMPD cruiser sustained damaged to the front and rear corner of the vehicle.
