DALLAS (KDAF) — Dallas Cowboys linebacker and three-time Super Bowl Champion, Darius Harris, is giving back to kids in Dallas, with a free youth football camp.
Harris, along with some of his NFL friends who are expected to attend, will host the camp on July 12, 2025, from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Thomas Jefferson High School (4001 Walnut Hill Lane, Suite Y, Dallas).
The Darius Harris free Youth Football Camp provides an opportunity for youngsters to develop their skills, foster teamwork, have fun, and create lasting memories with a three-time Super Bowl champion and NFL Pros from around the league.
“I’m really excited to be able to offer the camp to kids and teens for the first time in Dallas,” said Harris. “It means so much to me to be able to give back to kids and families in the community here. It’s an opportunity for me to share my passion for the game with these kids, show them what’s possible if you’re willing to work hard, and hopefully inspire them to do great things in school, sports, and life.”
The free camp is open to boys and girls between the ages of 6-13, regardless of their football experience, who register for tickets in advance at https://darius-harris.com. A ticket is needed for each child attending the camp. All participants must be preregistered to attend the camp and parents and guardians are encouraged register participants for tickets as soon as possible as space is limited.
All camp participants will receive a free lunch, T-shirt, and swag bag with gifts inside to take home with them. Registration/check-in at Thomas Jefferson High School starts at 8 a.m. on July 12 and camp runs from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.. A parent or guardian must be present at the time of check-in to sign a waiver.
Harris played high school football at Horn Lake High School in Mississippi and went on to play college football for Middle Tennessee State, before earning a spot on the Kansas City Chiefs roster as a free agent in 2020. The 29-year-old NFL linebacker captured three Super Bowl Championships with the Chiefs before signing with the Dallas Cowboys in 2024.
