DALLAS (KDAF) — On July 12, thousands of skydivers – both first-timers and veterans alike – will take to the skies for the second annual World Skydiving Day. The international event unites jumpers across continents in an attempt to break the world record for most skydives on this day.
Dallas locals can take part in breaking last year’s record of 30,000 jumps worldwide, including participants from 51 countries. Two Dallas drop zones are participating by collaborating with four of the largest skydiving associations in the world, including the U.S. Parachute Association:
- iSkydive America – Dallas: 100 Airport Drive, Ennis, Texas
- Tri-County Aerodrome (48TX) – Whitewright: 1039 Private Road 438, Whitewright, Texas
- Additional Texas drop zones can be found here.
