DANGEROUS HEAT
After a really nice end to the work week, with virtually not a cloud in the sky, we’re turning up the heat heading into the weekend. Today won’t be too bad, with low humidity and highs getting to the low-90s.
Highs soar to the mid-90s Sunday, and then triple digits Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Feels like temperatures all of next week will top out between 102 and 110. There will be very little overnight relief, which will only exacerbate the heat threat. Air conditioners and pools will certainly be working in overdrive next week.
There could be a little bit of relief by next Thursday and Friday, but there’s not a temperature cooler than the mid-90s on the forecast through next weekend.
FORECAST
SATURDAY will be partly cloudy. The high will be 92. Winds will be southeast 5 mph.
SATURDAY NIGHT will be mostly clear. The low will be 73. Winds will be light.
SUNDAY will be mostly sunny and turning hot. The high will be 96. Winds will be south 5 mph.
