(FOX40.COM) — A driver dies from his injuries after a crash into a tree on Friday night.

According to the Stockton Police Department, crews responded to a solo vehicle crash into a tree at the intersection of Inspiration Drive and Holam Road in the Valley Oak District at around 9:05 p.m.
SPD said that the driver was transported to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries.
At this time, the cause of the crash is unknown.
