(FOX40.COM) — An evacuation order is underway as Cal Fire responds to a vegetation fire that ignited Tuesday afternoon and is threatening several buildings in Solano County.

Around 5 p.m., officials reported that the Brown Fire was located near Browns Valley Road and Bridge Lane in Vacaville. The fire is about three acres but is spreading at a moderate speed, according to Cal Fire. Crews said that multiple structures are threatened and the nearby area is under a mandatory evacuation order.

Several firefighters and air resources are on their way to the scene.
